Banana size — about 10 inches, now that babies are measured crown to heel instead of crown to rump (that is why the length jumps from ~6 inches last month). Weighs ~10 oz. Swallowing amniotic fluid daily; the sex is clearly visible on ultrasound.
What your partner is going through
The halfway mark. Her belly button may flatten or pop out, and a dark vertical line — linea nigra — can run down the belly as pregnancy hormones drive pigmentation. She can likely feel regular kicks now, and the bump is unmistakable.
